MG610 belongs to Gpon terminal products. Based on ITU-T g.984 standard design, compatible with telecom, Unicom, Mobile, radio and television operators technical standards, and the mainstream of the equipment manufacturers interoperability good, is the optical fiber to the user's ideal access terminal.
This article describes the method of setting up MG610.
Note : Gpon terminals must be connected to the front end of the operator after the certification, registration before the normal access to the Internet. Different regions, different operators of the certification registration may vary, please confirm with the operator of the local fiber line is Gpon line and authentication mode.
1 , set Operation computer network parameters
Please set the wired network card of operation computer to obtain IP address automatically, if not clear how to set up,
2 , connecting Devices
Press the Light cat's power switch, connect the household fiber to the Light cat's Pon interface, and use the network cable to connect the operating computer with the LAN port of the light cat. As follows:
1 , enter the administrative address
Open the computer desktop browser, empty the address bar and input 192.168.1.1, enter can directly log into the cat's management interface (without login username and password), as follows:
Note : If you cannot log in to the admin interface, try resetting the light cat.
2 , fill in the certification parameters
Common authentication methods are LOID certification, MAC Certification (automatic certification, no need to set). Here take Loid certification as an example.
In the Light Cat management interface, click on the Internet Authentication , input by the operator to provide the loid and password, click Save and Authentication . As follows:
After a while, the system prompts for a successful authentication, as follows:
3 ,VLAN settings
Click on VLAN Auto set >> start probing . As follows:
Note : If the broadband service provider has provided a VLAN value, you can directly select the
VLAN
manually set , and in the manual settings to enter the VLAN value, save it.
After the VLAN value is detected, click Enable after the corresponding VLAN value, and click Save (if you have multiple VLAN values, try each).
Note : If you do not detect VLAN values, you can try to set the VLAN mode to the mode of
pass through mode ,
operator remote setup , and so on in turn.
After you save the settings, you will be prompted to re-register, click OK , as follows:
Wait a minute. After that, the cat and the front end registered successfully, at this time the computer tried to the operator in the way specified (such as broadband dial-up, etc.) online.
Problems that may be encountered
1 , VLAN What if we can't detect it?
Please follow the following methods to troubleshoot:
1, VLAN detection must be successful on the basis of authentication, if the certification failure will not be able to detect the VLAN.
2, try to upgrade the software to the latest standard version of the cat to detect again.
3, will light the cat's fiber interface disconnect, a little wait 2 minutes after the plug in the fiber to authenticate again, try to detect VLAN again.
4, can not detect the VLAN, there may be a front-end line causes, it is recommended to contact local operators to confirm the VLAN value, manually set.
