Method of getting Timestamp (unixtime) in C #

. NET does not encapsulate methods for obtaining timestamps (unixtime, relative to the number of milliseconds in the early hours of January 1, 1970). So I wrote the following methods to achieve.

DateTime starttime = TimeZone.CurrentTimeZone.ToLocalTime (New System.DateTime (1970, 1, 1, 0, 0, 0, 0));

DateTime nowtime = DateTime.Now;

Long unixtime = (long) math.round (nowtime-starttime). TotalMilliseconds, Midpointrounding.awayfromzero);
