Use of SORT commands in a Word table

① first, we need to move the cursor to the table that needs to be sorted, and then click the Table menu bar and select the Sort command in the pop-up drop-down menu.

② in the Sort Text dialog box that pops up, we choose primary keyword, type, ascending, or descending. If there are more records, we can also sort the "secondary" and "third" keywords.

③ "header row" or "Untitled row" below the header row selection in the Sort table.

④ Finally, we are "OK", the order of each row will be adjusted according to the result of the row sequence.

Sort in ascending order, descending sort using method

① Displays the Tables and Borders toolbar, and if none of the buttons above appear, open Add or remove buttons → tables and borders after this toolbar, and check these two items.

② moves the insertion point into the data column that you want to sort (either of the cells).

③ Click the Ascending Sort button, the numbers in the column are sorted from small to large, Chinese characters are sorted by pinyin from A to Z, and Row Records are adjusted by sort results, and click the Descending Sort button, the numbers in the column are sorted from large to small, the Chinese characters are sorted from Z to a, and the row records are adjusted according to the sequential results.
