Bought a laptop and home machine with a router to connect with the Internet ADSL, after the younger brother's continuous exploration can finally go online, but can not be shared files, how can i solve this problem?

We are in the use of multiple machines, even the use of shared files is the most used, how to set up a shared file? Here we will introduce. First we need to look at the basic requirements for sharing files.

Basic conditions for Windows Network Neighborhood visits:

1 Both sides of the computer open, and set up a network of shared resources, installation NWLINK Ipx/spx/netbios compatible Transport Protocol protocol;

2 The computers on both sides have added the Microsoft network file and Print sharing service to enable guest users in "admin";

3 Both sides correctly set the IP address in the network, and must be in a network segment, run "System Properties"-"Network Identification"-"Network ID", set in the same workgroup without domain, computer name unique;

4 Either the firewall is turned off on both computers, or there is no policy in the firewall policy to block Network Neighborhood access.

5) Shared Folders

Set up small LAN file sharing with hardware such as routing:

Home has two or more computers, many people want to put them together to build a small LAN, so you can use ADSL and shared files. But when we think that the file sharing is always Zooey problem, the following is from our set start.

In the process of setting up a home or small office network, we "choose the description that best describes this computer" and choose the other option, and then select this computer to connect to the Internet directly or through a network hub. Other computers on my network are also connected to the Internet in this way. "Yes, go ahead, but the system prompts you not to recommend this network configuration." In fact, the problem of file sharing is there. It doesn't matter, though it's not recommended, but this is "the best description of this computer," or continue to the end, to complete the exit.

Open the network connection, we will see "Local connection" (this is our local area network, the following renamed to "Home")

Right-click the home connection, open the Home Properties window, click the "Install" button, add a protocol, and choose to add a protocol named NWLink Ipx/spx/netbios Compatible Transport protocol. OK after completion, exit.

or the Network Connection window, advanced advanced settings, select our connection (home) and remove the check in front of Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) under "File and Printer Sharing for Microsoft Networks" in the "Home Bindings" section below. What we have done is done.

With the above settings, file sharing should not be a problem. Add, however, that the home-connected firewall does not turn on and that it is properly set up with a different firewall, such as Skynet.

File Share settings:

Fixed IP on the machine set up a shared file, want to enter the shared file, first in the network card IP address bar to see the need to access the IP address, and then directly in the address bar input: "\ Target host Address" on it. The prerequisite is that the shared file is already set up.

Back to the column page: http://www.bianceng.cnhttp://www.bianceng.cn/Network/zwjs/

If in the automatic allocation of the address of the machine (in the trial wireless router, many people are directly selected by default automatically choose the IP address option) is generally route with DHCP assigned address, first of all to query the IP address of the machine to access, the Query method is as follows:

Win9x system, enter command in run (shortcut key win+r), enter ipconfig in open window

Win2K system, in the running (shortcut key win+r) input cmd, in the open window to enter ipconfig

Then in this machine directly in the address bar input: "\ Target host Address" on it. The prerequisite is that the shared file is already set up.

File Sharing Problem Resolution:

User authentication issues with Windows 98/2000/xp/2003 access XP

First questions about why guest cannot access:

1. XP disables the Guest account by default

2. By default, the local security policy of XP prohibits guest users from accessing the network

3, by default, XP's local Security policy-> security option, "account: Users can only use a blank password console login" is enabled, that is, any account of the null password can not access from the network can only log on locally, the guest default blank password ...

So, if you need to use a guest user to access XP, go to the three settings above: Enable guest, modify security policy to allow guest to access from the network, disable security policy in 3, or add a password to guest.

Sometimes there is another situation: when you visit XP, the user name in the logon dialog box is dimmed, always the guest user, and you cannot enter another user account.

The reason is that this security policy is at Mischief (Administrative Tools-> Local Security Policy-> security options-> "Network access: Sharing and security mode for local accounts").

By default, the way XP is accessed is "Guest only", then you access it, and of course it is fixed to guest and cannot be entered into another user account.

So the easiest way to access XP is to simply modify the security policy above to "classic" without having to enable guest. Other systems Access XP can enter account information on their own.

Non-privileged access resolution:

1. Set the password for the local Administrator account

2. Set Network access mode to Classic mode.

3. Set up user accounts that allow access to computers from the network (join the Guest group)

4. Set up a user account that prohibits access to the computer from the network (delete the guest group)

To set the method:

Start-->

Run gpedit.msc-->

Computer Configuration-->

Windows Settings-->

Security Settings (securitysettings)-->

Local Policy (localpolicies)-->

1. User Rights Assignment (userrightsassignment)--> Access this computer from the network (accessthiscomputerfromthenetwork)--> Add the Guest group.

2. User Rights Assignment (Userrightsassignment)--> refuses to access this computer from the network (denyaccesstothiscomputerfromthenetwork)--> deletes the guest group.

3. Security options (securityoptions)--> Network access: Sharing and security mode for local accounts (networkaccess:sharingandsecuritymodelforlocalaccounts)--> Change to Classic mode.

If you completely follow the above method, please run regedit, to:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\Lsa This Kang value RestrictAnonymous set to 0.

Put: The value of Restrictanonymoussam also changed to 0 bar.

Here is the description:

1, RestrictAnonymous registered in the control of any user to obtain the level of local information settings, if the RestrictAnonymous is set to 0 (the default), any user can obtain the local information through the network, including user name, detailed account policy and share name. This information can be exploited by attackers when attacking a computer. With this information, it is possible for an attacker to learn about the current computer's system administrator account, the path to the network share, and the less robust password.

The method for modifying this security level is as follows: Run Regedit.exe Edit Registry, navigate to Zijian hkey_local_machine\system\currentcontrolset\control\ The LSA RestrictAnonymous The value of this Kang from an unsafe 0 value to a higher security level of 1 or 2.

Note: This security level, if raised, may cause the computer to be inaccessible within the local area network.

2. When the NetBIOS settings in wins in the TIP/IP Advanced option are disabled, the LAN cannot be accessed.

3, if the shock wave virus will not be able to access to the local area network.

4, if the IP is not set to fixed IP, LAN function will be limited.

Summary

With the above introduction, we have made clear the method of file sharing and the solution to the problem when accessing the shared files, if you have any questions or better solutions welcome to the forum to discuss together.
