Method One: Copy the font file into the c:windowsfonts.
1. To the font Web site to download font files, the general download is a ZIP or RAR format compressed files, extracted after the font file, generally the. ttf format.
2. Open My Computer (computer), enter c:windowsfonts in the Address bar, and open the Windows Fonts folder.
3. Copy the extracted font files and paste them into the C:windowsfonts folder. The font completes the installation.
4. After the installation is successful, we can view the installed font files.
Method Two: Right key font file installation
1. Right mouse button font file, and then click "Install" in the pop-up list to install fonts. The fonts are quickly installed.
2. This method is more convenient to install, the original and method one, after installation font files are stored in the system disk font (font) folder.
Method Three: Right-click to install as a shortcut
1. Open My Computer (computer), enter c:windowsfonts in the Address bar, and open the Windows Fonts folder. Then click Font settings on the left of the point to open the Font Settings window.
2. In the Font Settings window, in the "Allow shortcut installation Font (Advanced) (A)" small box tick, and then click OK button to save the settings.
3. Right button font file, click "Install as Shortcut" to complete the font installation.
4. After the installation is complete, we can see the font shortcuts in the Font folder of the system disk. The font file is still saved in the original location.
Attention matters
Using the Copy font file method to install fonts copies the fonts to the C:windowsfonts folder and consumes the system disk space.
Use shortcuts to install fonts, and font files are saved in their original location. Saving only the font shortcuts in the C:windowsfonts folder saves the system disk space, but you cannot delete the font files, otherwise the fonts cannot be used.
