Photoshop's Gradient map command maps an equal grayscale range of images to a specified gradient fill color. For example, specify a two-color gradient fill, the shadow in the image is mapped to one of the endpoint colors of the gradient fill, the high light maps to the other endpoint color, and the midtones map to the gradient between the two endpoint colors.
Next we'll look at how to define a gradient map, and first open a graph.
The Gradient Mappings dialog box pops up when you perform the image > adjust > Gradient Map command or the layer > new adjustment layer > Gradient Map command.
Click on the gradient bar in the dialog box to eject the editable Gradient dialog box
A01: For a preset of a gradient map, you can apply the gradient map by clicking the gradient square with the mouse, and you can read and save the custom preset by using the small triangle at the top right of the preset and the load, save buttons
A02: There are two types of gradient type, one "real bottom", the other "noise", in the above figure we see the real bottom gradient, "noise" gradient is randomly generated, generally used for more dazzling special effects production, here is not the story.
A03: Smoothness of the set and then Photoshop Help file, there is no explanation, in the personal use of the process, just feel the smoothness of the setting can be appropriately enhanced image contrast. In some very minor changes, you can try to adjust.
A04: Opacity color label, used to set the opacity of the gradient, when the opacity is 100%, the color under the opacity is solid, and when the opacity is 0%, the opacity color is transparent, and when the opacity is 50%, the opacity color is translucent, and so on. The opacity Swatch can slide left or right, set the opacity gradient, or click between the two opacity colors to add a new opaque punctuation mark.
A05: Left-color punctuation
A06: Right Color punctuation
The most important thing is to control A05 and A06, so let's take a look at how to control color punctuation.
Click the color punctuation, the color mark is selected, B01 is selected in the figure above, B02 is unchecked.
When monochrome punctuation is selected, you can edit the color, click the color block in the image below to eject the Color Picker dialog box and pick the colors
