Methods for wireless Internet sharing in Windows 7
The school dormitory network uses the ruijie client to restrict multiple network cards. Once detected, the authentication link is disconnected. It is not easy to share the internet ~~ Later, someone bought a TP-Link wireless router in the dormitory to share the internet. However, as long as the dormitory network cable is inserted into the WAN port, authentication is not successful in any case! Cups ~~ I had to plug it into the LAN port, and one person used a number for authentication. A good wireless router can only be used as a switch, which is very sad! So far, we have not found the method of using vrouters in ruijie. (I have searched the internet many times, tried various methods, cracked shared software, and so on, and it is quite troublesome. Don't want to try again ~~ Don't forget to tell me who has a simple method ~~) Later I had to work hard in my notebook.
The following are several methods for wireless Internet sharing I have summarized in Windows 7. I will share them with you:
1. Point-to-point connection to share the Internet (XP is also acceptable, you can find the method yourself, here only win7)
Although it is point-to-point, but not only two people can share, this can be understood wrong !!
(Now I am sharing the Internet with my roommate. Lenovo in the figure below is the connection I created)
The entire connection creation process is as follows:
First, go to the "Network and sharing center". There are many ways to do this. Find them by yourself. Select "manage wireless networks"
Click "add" and then select "create temporary network"
Select "Next"
The following window appears.
Click "Next"
Wireless Network created
Click the "Network Connection" icon in the lower-right corner of the task bar to view your connection:
But it's not over yet, so other computers won't be connected to you, and your computer will show wireless network connection "no Internet access". You can also set the local connection (that is, the wired network card) to share:
Go to "network and sharing center", select "Change adapter Settings", and the following page appears:
Right-click the local connection and choose properties:
Click the "share" tab. Check the following two boxes and click OK!
Another important point is: to share the Internet with your computer <a href = "http://product.yesky.com/wirelessnetcard"> wireless network card </a> to set to "automatically get IP address" (this is the default, if not, change it), or set the IP address that is in the same CIDR block as the host <a href = "http://product.yesky.com/wirelessnetcard"> wireless network card </a> ip address.
Now, someone else can share the Internet with you!
Reminder: in the future, the host will be connected to the self-created network (ASD) before others can connect to your computer. Never forget !!!

2. special Functions of win7 (software can be used in XP). It is said that this function is concealed because it is not complete (driver problem, only a few <a href = "http://product.yesky.com/wirelessnetcard"> wireless NICs </a> are supported.
After the implementation of the effect is the same as the real wireless router, so the <a href = "http://product.yesky.com/wirelessnetcard"> wireless network card </a> As a router.
The y450 <a href = "http://product.yesky.com/wirelessnetcard"> wireless network adapter </a> is supported, but the latest NIC driver must be used in a 64-bit system. My system is 32-bit. I have not tried it yet.
The following are two implementation methods:
① Run the command line: (the following content comes from the Internet)
Tip: after running the command, create a network named hotspot with the password passwordhere.
Start the command line prompt in administrator mode, and then enter
Netsh WLAN set hostednetwork mode = allow SSID = hotspot key = passwordhere
Run the following command to start the base station function:
Netsh WLAN start hostednetwork
After running the command, you can see a "Microsoft Virtual WiFi miniport adapter" device in the network and sharing settings.
You can set up sharing in the sharing tab. Then, you can access this machine using a wireless device. The current function does not seem powerful.
(The wireless network is displayed on the mobile phone. I don't know what brand it is. Is it an IP address ??)
Currently known and unsupported devices are: (from this page: http://www.connectify.me/docs/supportedcards.html)

Zydas zd1211 (also in 802.11bg USB dongles)
② Implemented through software:
Software name: connectify (the latest version of Beta 4.1 released)
(Currently free. I don't know if I will be charged in the future .)
Official Website: http://connectify.me/
Thunder: http://www.connectify.me/djfg72/ConnectifyInstaller.exe
The software interface is full of English, and Chinese has not yet been found, but the method of use is very simple. The following is the software interface:
This allows the software to share the local connection settings before use. The following describes the main function settings:
WiFi name: name of the network you want to create
Passphrase: password. This password is required for others to connect to your network.
Internet: This is the connection you want to share. Select "Local Connection" for your wired network card"
Mode: "Access Point, WPA2-PSK" select this can turn your <a href = "http://product.yesky.com/wirelessnetcard"> wireless network card </a> into a wireless router (currently only a few network card support );
Select "ad-hoc, WEP" to create a point-to-point connection. The effect is the same as that of the 1st sharing methods.
TIPS: This is not only for sharing laptops and laptops, but also for laptops and mobile phones or other devices that support WiFi, provided that your mobile phone supports wifi.
So much. I have tried very hard to check for errors. If there are any errors, please refer to the discussion.
