I am an enterprise website, and I am a partner of small businesses. I have a certain understanding of enterprise operations. My industry is regarded as the IT service industry. It is the most typical customized project-type company. Relatively speaking, my company is of little interest to investors.
This communication with investors made me realize that, as entrepreneurs and migrant workers, we must have a long-term vision to choose an industry and a starting point. Generally, it takes 5 to 10 years to enter an industry to have a deep understanding of this industry. It may be the stage in which people enter the society with the most passion, the most vigorous, and the least load, this may be the easiest stage for improvement and success in life.
My understanding of IT service
The business model of the IT service industry is to get the corresponding return by meeting the information needs of enterprise customers. There are several key points:
1. the requirements of enterprise customers are usually closely related to the business processes of the enterprise. Therefore, each enterprise customer's project is different, and the service cost will not decrease as the factory assembly line does.
2. You must extract the commonalities of customer needs of each enterprise to streamline and productize the service content as much as possible.
3. segment customer groups based on the customer's value concerns and serve different customers in different ways
4. Establish your own industry brands and package yourself to improve the value of services in the eyes of customers
The most painful thing for a custom project company is not that there are no customers, but that there is a gap between the customer's needs and the services they can provide, which will offset some of the project profits. Moreover, customized project-based companies generally lack long-term strategic vision. They cannot see whether these projects should be done or not, and are finally forced to survive, only to find that the project makes the company suffer.
Before doing so, we must make rational analysis. First, you must have a clear understanding of your company, what the company's goals are, what kind of business to be done, and what objects to be increased in value. Check whether this project is good for the company for a long time, and then decide whether to do it.
In addition, we recommend that you do not customize each project for a custom project company. The so-called customization must be based on the extension of a mature system, which is both ready-made and ready-to-use, if this is not the case, it will inevitably face high costs.
