1. Windows 2003 must be SP2, which is different from R2.

2. Both framework 3.0 and 3.5 are supported. If the following error occurs:

The TypeInitializer for 'Microsoft. CRM. serverlocatorservice' threw an exception.

Input string was not in a correct format

If 3.0 is used on the Internet, you can try to execute lodctr/R under c: \ windows \ system32 in the command prompt line.

3. sqlserver2005 must be SP2 and reportingservice must be installed. instances with reportingservice on the same server must be upgraded. Otherwise, the configuration tool reports the error "800.0a.

4. You can choose not to use the default instance of sqlserver. (When training, the teacher said yes @@)

5. in the reporting services configurator, you can re-create the "virtual directory of the Report Server" and "virtual directory of the report manager", because the virtual directory path is weird when the default instance is selected, select "classic" for "Web service ID. and then access the reportserver website to add the read and execute permissions of everyone to files that are not authorized. (It is said that you can add a netservice account)

6. An error occurred while opening the website after installation. The following error occurs: caller does not have enough privilege to set callerorigintointoken to the specified value. crm4.0 cannot be accessed.
Solution: add the domain users who installed crm4.0 to the "privusergroup" group, and then restart the computer to access
