I have always wanted to migrate my blog from wordpress to Drpual, but I am too lazy to start it. Until recently, my blog posted on bluehost failed to be clicked several times. I don't have to think about the contribution made by our Great Wall firewall. So I decided to migrate my blog from bluehost to Alibaba Cloud.
The first thing to do is to apply for an ICP filing. Because you already have an Alibaba Cloud host, you can apply for an ICP filing directly on Alibaba Cloud. Alibaba's staff will help you complete the ICP filing. I have to say that Alibaba is doing well.
The process is still relatively smooth. The record filing process should be completed in about seven working days.
The next step is to change the dsn of the domain name and configure the Alibaba cloud environment. Finally, we decided to migrate wordpress to Drupal.
The migration process is relatively simple. There are two steps:
1: migrate data from wordpress to Drupal.
Use the wordpress migrate module. This module is based on the migrate module.
After installation and enabling, click the mouse and the data will soon be migrated.
A small problem is that wordpress comment migration is a problem. It may be because wordpress has enabled the plug-in to block spam comments (just speculation, there is not much time to dig into the cause ). Because there are not many comments on this site, I don't care too much about it. I will manually make up for it.
2: Drupal blog website configuration.
Required modules include views, back to top, text resize, flippy, and customerror.
Here, views implements the date archiving and blog classification list.
Back to top is a UE module that allows you to quickly return to the top of the page.
Flippy enables the previous and next pages of an article.
Text resize implements text size switching of the body content.
Customerror is to 404 and 403 page jump to the public welfare page, specific reference: http://www.dplor.com/archives/586
PS: written at the end
The above are all the things you can see. What you can't see below is the search box at the top of the sidebar of this blog. Don't underestimate this small search box. There are the following techniques behind it:
Searchapi + searchapi_solr
Apachesolr 4.10 search engine
Mmseg4j 2.20 Chinese word segmentation
The search engine of this blog is another practice outside of IK, the previously introduced Chinese word segmentation solution, and it proves that this path works.
As of the end of this article, the official Drupal modules, apachesolr, and mmseg4j used are the latest official recommended versions.
