Minimum template for solving LaTeX Chinese problems using xeCJK
LaTeX's Chinese support has always been a problem. When I first started learning LaTeX in about 11 years, the Chinese solution at that time was the CJK macro package. By the time of 12 or 13 years, the optimal solution for LaTeX Chinese support has becomeXeLaTeX + xeCJKThis is probably the best Chinese solution so far.
Later, CTEX learned to pack xeCJK functions and released the ctex macro package, which further simplifies the problem of writing Chinese documents with LaTeX.
Below is the usageXeLaTeXAndXeCJKMinimum template that supports Chinese characters:
12345 |
\ Documentclass {article} \ usepackage {xeCJK} \ begin {document} Chinese English hybrid example. \ End {document} |
There are two more sentences than the minimum LaTeX template in English:
\usepackage{xeCJK}
XeCJK automatically uses the Fandole font that comes with TeXLive. To compile the template, you need to install the Chinese fonts that are provided by TeXLive to the system. The simplest way is~ /. FontsCreate a soft link under the directory:
ln -s /opt/texlive/2014/texmf-dist/fonts/opentype/public/fandol ~/.fonts/
Compile with the following command:
xelatex test.tex
