Minor problems encountered during redhat9 installation and use under Vmware

1. Select the default option when selecting the mouse and keyboard during installation. select the option based on the actual situation, but VMWare does not respond.

2. Switch the redhat9 GUI and text interface under VMware:

Start VMware. In edit-> preference-> hot keys, change the hot keys combination settings from the default CTRL + ALT to other settings, and then press OK. Restart VMWare, start the Linux virtual machine, you can use CTRL + ALT + F1-F7 switch console.

3. Run the locate MySQL command to view the MySQL installation directory.

4, if the installation is MySQL RPM package, the configuration of PHP will not find the MySQL header file error, install the mysql-devel.rpm package can solve the problem, this package can be found in the RHL Disc
