modify and beautify the Matlab font
Matlab as the University of Science and engineering undergraduate or graduate students indispensable scientific research tools have been a long history, so that in our university life or scientific research work, MATLAB everywhere flashes its figure, brought us a lot of help and convenience. With the gradual advance of the new version of MATLAB, its function has been perfected.
But unfortunately, after so many years of development, MATLAB support for Chinese is still flawed. Of course, we never have to look for a way to help the culture of the system with MATLAB, and the reason is needless to say. Can matlab support for Chinese fonts is a problem, in MATLAB we can often see as shown in the garbled:
The reason is that we have set up the MATLAB editor in the font of an English font we prefer (such as courier New, etc.), and MATLAB will not be able to display the Chinese we entered. Can friends have the impression, if in Visual Studio, if we set up the use of English fonts, then the Chinese will never be displayed as garbled, even if it is displayed as a more ugly song body.
In spite of this, we are willing to spend the day in the ugly English font of MATLAB (font set to use Chinese fonts, the corresponding English font is usually more ugly) or garbled Chinese (the font is set to use the favorite English font, Chinese will be displayed as garbled) and study or research it? Of course not! Below, moonlight for friends to share a new font based on the Courier New two font re-packaging generated by the name of Matlab. The English and numeric characters of the font, as well as some punctuation marks, use the Courier New font, while all other fonts use the Chinese-language black character.
When the font is set in MATLAB, English can be displayed as courier New font effect, and Chinese is displayed as the effect of the Chinese fine black, so I will never see the Chinese in MATLAB garbled, from the MATLAB in the Chinese font garbled say goodbye! The interface of the MATLAB editor with no Chinese characters after using this font is as follows:

After the download is copied to the Windows system directory under the Fonts folder installed, and then in MATLAB, Open the Preferences dialog box through File->preferences, and then in the fonts-> Custom under the Matlab font can be detailed settings, set up the use of the MATLAB font.
If you are just looking for a font, read here, download the file, installation is ready to use. And if you want to pack your own font, please continue to read, the moonlight for you to briefly explain how to use the existing font packaging fonts.
How to make the font packaging 1.FontCreator
Using existing fonts to package a font requires the use of a software named Fontcreator. You can search for it via Google. It is necessary to note that the trial version cannot save the created font. Therefore, either you buy the original, or you need to download the idea to the appropriate version.
And the task we need to do with this software is very simple, so it's completely unnecessary to use the latest version. A fontcreator V6.0 software is enough to complete our mission.
After the installation of the download, Moonlight here is not to be too. Because many versions are green, there is nothing to describe in the installation process.

2. Create a new font
First use the Fontcreator software to open a Chinese font software, such as here we open the Chinese fine black, and then save it as we want the name of the font, such as Matlab.ttf;
Then we use the Fontcreator software to open a more favorite English font software, such as here we open courier New, and then select the part as shown in:
Select the image from $0004 to $0061 in the font file, and press CTRL + C to copy it.
Then we go back to the Chinese font file that we just opened in Fontcreator, select the images from the $0004 to $0061 in the English font, and press CTRL + V to paste the copied English fonts into the Chinese font file.
Finally, we will save the modified Chinese font file, that is, get the font file you want.
3. Other Notes
It is necessary to note that this only changes the file name and re-save the font, its font name does not change, once installed, the system will appear two of the same name (such as Chinese fine black) font.
We can, after opening the font file, open the Naming dialog box through the Format->naming menu to modify the information related to the font identity.
We can first select the corresponding operating system (such as Windows Unicode BMP) in the platform, then select Chinese or English in the language, and edit the identity information in the naming on the right side of the dialog box, and then save the font again. Allows us to repackage the font in the operating system has its own unique name.
