Modify cocould not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 fo in Ubuntu

When apache is installed on Ubuntu, the following error message is displayed every time it is restarted:

Cocould not reliably determine the server's fully qualified domain name, using 127.0.1.1 for servername

Solution

Modify the httpd. conf file

Open the terminal and enter the following command:

Sudo Vim/etc/apache2/httpd. conf

By default, this is an empty file. Add the following content to the file:

Servername localhost

Save the file and exit. Restart Apache again. The error message is "no.
