Steps:
(1). Use Paint Shop Pro 6 To change the picture to 640x480 size.
1. Double-click Psp.exe to open the software, click "Open", select the specified image;
2. Click "Image"--"resize", pixel size column, Width fill 640 height fill 480;
3. Click "Color"--"Reduce color depth"--"X color deep (4/8) small piece",
Fill 14 color, and select "Standard/Net-safe", "error spread", other not selected;
4. After editing the picture, save as *.bmp file. If the drop-down is off, use the keyboard arrow keys to toggle the options.
(2). Double-click Xnview.exe to run the XnView software, open the *.bmp file saved in the previous step and save as *.xpm file.
(3). Double-click 7zFM.exe run 7-zip software, select the *.xpm file in the software, click "Add" in the upper left corner, click "Browse" settings to save the path, select "7-zip"--"Add to Compressed archive", "Compress file format" select "GZIp", Other options default, then click OK to compress.
to compress the good *.xpm.gz Copy files to boots\grub\ directory, and then modify the Menu.lst the corresponding location of the file, you can test it.
