Modify IE Default HTML file Editor _ registry

We know that we can make changes to HTML files, and the editors used in IE can have Notepad, Frontpage Editor, Microsoft Word, and so on. All we need to do is click on the small arrow on the right side of the edit button to pop up these editing tools and then select our custom editor. But if we click on the Edit button, the default HTML editor will be activated.

How do you use our favorite editor as the default HTML editor?

Click the Internet Options command under the Tools menu to eject the Internet Options dialog box;

Click the Programs tab to select the HTML editing software you want in the HTML editor list box.

Closes the Internet Options dialog box so that the default values for the HTML file Editor are set.
