Modify oracle memory usage

# Su oracle $ cd $ ORACLE_HOME $. /sqlplus/nolog> connect/as sysdba;> show parameter sga; (view memory usage) name type value values ----------- ------------- lock_sga boolean FALSE pre_page_sga boolean FALSE sga_max_size big integer 800 M sga_max_size big integer 800 M> alter system set sga_max_size = 2048 m scope = spfile;> alter system set sga_target = 1024 m scope = spfile;

 

Restart the database, and then show parameter sga.
Alter system set memory_target = 2048 m scope = spfile;

 

Note: sga_max_size cannot be greater than memory_target. Otherwise, the database fails to be started.
