Modify the centos system resolution of a VM
The centos system is installed using the vmwarevm. The resolution is very low by default. You can use the following method to modify the resolution of the centos System in the VM:
1, # vi/boot/grub. conf
2. Find the line of the kernel, for example: kernel/vmlinuz-2.6.32-504.el6.x86_64 ro root =/dev/mapper/vg_centos6-lv_root kernel rd_NO_MD kernel = vg_centos6/lv_swap crashkernel = auto LANG = zh_CN.UTF-8 kernel = vg_centos6/lv_root KEYBOARDTYPE = pc KEYTABLE = us kernel rhgb quiet
3. Add vga = 791 at the end of the row
Kernel/vmlinuz-2.6.32-504.el6.x86_64 ro root =/dev/mapper/vg_centos6-lv_root kernel rd_NO_MD kernel = vg_centos6/lv_swap crashkernel = auto LANG = zh_CN.UTF-8 kernel = vg_centos6/lv_root KEYBOARDTYPE = pc KEYTABLE = us kernel rhgb quiet vga = 791
4. Save the file and restart the system.
Appendix: resolution reference table (for example, the resolution of 791 is 1024*768)
