The default port of the Remote Desktop Terminal Service is 3389. to prevent malicious connection, you need to change the default port. You can open the Registry Editor and expand it in sequence.
"HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Terminal Server \ WDS \ rdpwd \ TDS \ Tcp" branch. The "portnumber" key value under it corresponds to the port number and can be modified.
After the preceding settings are complete, expand the "HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SYSTEM \ CurrentControlSet \ Control \ Terminal Server \ winstations \ RDP-TCP" branch in sequence, change the "portnumber" key value.
After changing the remote login port of the server, you can set the connection server address in the local "Remote Desktop Connection Program", and then click "connection settings> Save ", export and save the connection file. Use NotePad to open the exported "*. RDP" file, add the statement "server port: I: Port Number" in it, save the file, and import the connection. Note that in Windows 2000, ". select the "server port = 3389" Statement, and change the default "3389" port to the same login port as the server.
