Modify the default software installation path for Windows

In Windows, the default software installation directories are all in c: \ Program Files. Many friends do not like to use this path every time they install the software. However, it is troublesome to re-select the path for each installation, is there a way to solve this problem once and for all? In fact, modifying the Registry can solve this problem.

Click Start> Run, enter regedit, and press enter to open the Registry Editor.

Find the Registry key HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE \ SOFTWARE \ Microsoft \ Windows \ CurrentVersion.

Find the project named "programfilesdir" in the right column, and you can see that the default value in the project is "C: \ Program Files ".
Right-click and choose modify from the shortcut menu ".
