Modify the Tomcat deployment path in the Eclipse MAVEN project

Source: Internet
Author: User

Eclipse configuration Tomcat is published to the. metadata\plugins\ directory by default, Wtpwebapps.

This will not find the published project in the actual Tomcat directory. So how do we set it up.

On the Console menu, locate servers, and then right-click New Server, as shown below

Then finish, do not choose Next, if you choose Next, do not choose Add any project.

Then, on the server name, double-click, or Right click on the menu, select Open

At this point, will be out of the configuration file, there are two to modify: the following image

First one: Server location

Select, the middle one, and then change the deploy path to:

WebApps

Second: Timeouts, startup timeout, default is too small

A little bigger, all changed to 1200.
