This part of the book provides a general introduction to MongoDB. Includes JavaScript shell and Ruby drivers, both of which have examples

In the first chapter, we will learn about the history of MongoDB, the purpose of design and the actual use of the scene. We will also learn what MongoDB is so different that we use NoSQL to name it.

After studying chapter two, you will be familiar with the shell language of MongoDB. You will learn the basic techniques of MongoDB query language, and you will practice to create, query, update, and delete documents.

The third chapter introduces MongoDB's drive and MongoDB data format-bson. You'll know how to connect to a database with Ruby, and we'll show you the flexibility of MongoDB and its powerful query capabilities by building an example of an application.
