Recently, we formed a team to welcome a new BS project, campus video management, and many people thought about MongodDB when we talked about videos. At that time, they were very confused and did not know what to do, so I went to see all kinds of documents and thought about installing and playing first.

After reading a variety of materials, I learned that the installation is somewhat different from that of SQLServer, So I recorded the installation and configuration process.

1. (select the appropriate version for installation ):

Http://www.mongodb.org/downloads

2. installation:

(1) create a folder on disk D (other disks can also be used) and copy the downloaded folder in the installation package to the new folder. :

(2) create a new folder to store your liabd data.

3. Start the Database Service

(1) Press Win + r, Enter cmd to open the command window, and enter the following command:

4. Configure environment variables (to avoid entering specific paths when executing programs in the bin folder)

(1) copy the path under the new folder MongoliaBD.

(2) Find the environment variable in the control panel

(3) select path for editing:

Click OK. The environment variable is set successfully!

In this way, when starting the service, you only need to enter the mongod program name, and you can find the corresponding execution program without entering the specific path:

It can be started successfully!

The MongoDB document model is free and flexible. It is very suitable for Internet applications with large data volumes and high concurrency and meets our needs for this project. This time, we have the opportunity to learn new things. MongoDB learning has just begun.
