3.4.4 Deleting data

Delete the data in MongoDB using "remove ()". However, there are two optional options for this function:

Delete condition: The data that satisfies the condition is deleted.

Delete Only one data: set to TRUE or 1 to delete only one.

Example : Delete all messages with "valley" in their names

Db.students.remove ({"Name":/Valley/}) # All is deleted by default

Example : Delete a message with a "high" name and ask to delete only one

Db.students.remove ({"Name":/High/}, True)

Db.students.remove ({"Name":/High/}, 1)

example : Deleting content from the Infos collection

Db.infos.remove ({})

Db.infos.remove ({}) is the deletion of the contents of the Infos collection, and Db.infos.drop () is the delete Infos collection.
