MongoDB mac Installation

There are two common ways to install MongoDB:

First, download the installation

Second, homebrew installation

I'm using the second kind.

1. Update Homebrew

Brew Update

2, install MongoDB (super-privilege installation, otherwise it will be problematic)

sudo Install MongoDB

If everything goes well, it's already installed.

# Start Command mongod# start the client command MONGO

You can add MONGO to an environment variable,

# Addyour own directory to the export PATH=/usr/local/cellar/mongodb/3.2in ~/. Bash_profile. 1/bin:{$PATH}# update source. Bash_profile

Look at the configuration file

Vim/usr/local/etc/mogod.conf

The storage directory for the data is the default/data/db directory, which is guaranteed to have read and write permissions.
