Moss document library custom PDF document icon

The icons in the moss document library can be customized. You only need to place the icon image in the corresponding position and specify the corresponding image file in the icon configuration document.

Take a PDF document as an example. The procedure is as follows:

1. Place the produced .gif (16x16) under "C: \ Program Files \ common files \ microsoft shared \ Web Server Extensions \ 12 \ template \ images.

2. Modify "C: \ Program Files \ common files \ microsoft shared \ Web Server Extensions \ 12 \ template \ XML \ docicon. XML "file, add" <mapping key = "pdf" value = "pdf.gif"/> "after" <byextension>"

3. Restart IIS: iisreset

In this way, the icon of the PDF file in the document library can be displayed normally.
