The following is a problem I encountered when I recently used Ajax extension to develop Ajax webpart.
Problem description:
Ajax extension provides an easy-to-use and powerful platform for developing Ajax-enabled webparts. However, before Moss SP1 is released, Ajax extension has limited support for webpart.
Specifically, the webpart that uses the Ajax extension control (such as scriptmanager and updatepanle) can only run once, and then becomes invalid, and affects the normal use of other webparts on the page.
Windows SharePoint Services V3 is built based on ASP. NET 2.0. Microsoft ASP. net Ajax 1.0 was launched after Moss, so in some cases, Asp. there are some compatibility issues between net Ajax and Sharepoint, which will be solved in Windows SharePoint Services SP1.
Solution:Install the latest patch package SP1 for moss to solve this compatibility problem.General steps: 1. Install WSS 3.0 sp12. install Moss 2007 SP1
3. Run the SharePoint product and Technical Configuration Wizard again.Note: pls bakup your important data before Upgrade
