This article describes how to mount a USB flash drive to rhel7.1.

1. Switch to root first. Otherwise, other users have insufficient permissions. This is very important.

Su Root

2. # enter the sbin directory

CD/sbin

3. # view disk Information

./Fdisk-l

# Display the ID of My USB flash drive as/dev/sdc1

4. # create a mount folder

Mkdir/mnt/usb1

5. # Mount

Mount/dev/sdc1/mnt/usb1


# After mounting, you can view the file content in the USB flash disk.


In addition, if RHEL does not have an external tool, it can only be mounted to a USB flash drive in FAT32 format.

./Fdisk-l can be viewed, but cannot be mounted.
