Mount a USB flash disk in Linux (Note: After fdisk-l is solved, the device of the corresponding USB flash disk cannot be found)-Linux general technology-Linux technology and application information. For details, refer to the following. Original: taiyang156
I installed LINUX on a virtual machine, and I couldn't mount the USB flash disk. I read a lot of articles, but I didn't solve the problem. I finally found out that it was a problem with my steps.
1. Place the mouse in the virtual machine first (this is the most important thing that many people are eager to skip)
2. Run the fdisk-l command;
3. Locate the FAT32 format or similar format.
4. mount the file with the mount command.
I used to insert a USB flash drive with the mouse in a WINDOWS environment. As a result, WINDOWS is accessible, and then run the fdisk-l command in LINUX, the corresponding device cannot be found! Haha, if you cannot mount it again, it will be several times more than once. Do not display the icon when you insert a USB flash disk in WINDOWS. If you find a USB flash disk in WINDOWS, mount it on LINUX, it must be a failure. Maybe there is a conflict between them! Try more. Certainly!
One-step success: After several experiments, I found that after inserting a USB flash drive, the USB flash drive icon appears in WINDOWS. Don't worry. Open the VM, on the title bar, click "Virtual Machine"-> Removable device-> USB device. If "removable disk" is displayed, click it. A dialog box is displayed. Click OK, now the USB flash drive icon in WINDOWS has disappeared, and you can mount your USB flash drive in LINUX (as shown above ). if "removable disk (Port 1)" is displayed, it can be mounted directly!
