Move an Excel 2007 PivotTable report

You may want to move an Excel 2007 PivotTable report so that you can insert worksheet cells, rows, or columns in the current location of the Excel 2007 PivotTable report.

Click the Excel 2007 PivotTable report.

On the Options tab, in the Actions group, click Move PivotTable report.

The Move Pivot Table dialog box appears.

Under Select where to place the PivotTable report, do one of the following:

To put the Excel 2007 PivotTable report in a new worksheet (starting at cell A1), click New Sheet.

To put a PivotTable report in an existing worksheet, select Existing worksheet, and then click the first cell in the range of cells that you want to put in the PivotTable report.

Alternatively, click Compress dialog to temporarily hide the dialog box, select the starting cell of the worksheet, and then press the Expand Dialog button.
