Mplayer cannot find/dev/DSP during playback

Recently I compiled an mplayer in Linux, and the result showed that/dev/DSP could not be found. I searched a lot of web pages on the Internet and finally found two methods that are feasible, share the information for your reference:

Method 1:

Use # Fuser-V/dev/DSP

Check whether the file exists.

Create a file snd-pcm-oss.modules under the/etc/sysconfig/modules directory

The content is as follows:

#! /Bin/sh

If [! -C/dev/DSP]

Then

Exec/sbin/modprobe snd-PCM-OSS>/dev/null 2> & 1

Fi

After saving the file, add the executable permission to the file.

Run # modprobe snd-PCM-OSS with root permission

 

Method 2:

As long as you change/etc/modprobe. d/dist-oss.conf to the last line before the # Remove it.
