1. Installing the centos6.3 on the VMware8

Prepared files

New Virtual machine

Choose to create a new empty virtual machine

Choose Linux and CentOS

Allocate 20G of hard disk space

Adjust memory space

Bridging: Virtual machines and real-world communication using a real-world network card, to occupy real IP

NAT: Virtual NIC VMnet8

HOST Only:vmnet1 can only communicate with virtual machines and cannot surf the internet

Installing CentOS

Chinese Simplified

to partition

Must partition:/(Root partition)

Swap partition (swap partition, memory twice times (>4g equals good), no more than 2GB)

Recommended partition:/boot (boot partition, 200M)

Select Install Basic Service

Install Complete Login System

Installation log

/root/install.log: Stores the packages and their versions installed in the system

/root/install.log.syslog: Stores the event records that were left during the installation

/ROOT/ANACONDA-KS.CFG: Record option information set during installation in the format of the Kickstart configuration file
