Multi test Manager cannot start qtp (unable to launch quicktest professional.) Solution

 

 

 

Qtp is a good tool for performance testing. Many people use it for functional testing, but it has a defect that the functionality of batchcompute test cases is too weak. Fortunately, qtp Development Company

Launched "multi test Manager ".

 

We plan to execute batch cases today and report the following error if execution fails:

Unable to launch quicktest professional. Try and end theses processes from the Task Manage: "qtauto ~ 1exe "and" qtpro.exe"

 

Error cause:

1. allow external access not enabled in qtpProgramRunning case options.

2. qtp is not started. (It's depressing. You must first run qtp to run it !)

 

Solution:

1. Click the "option"-> "run" tab in the qtp menu.

"Allow other mercury products to run tests and components" is checked.

2. Start qtp before running "multi test Manager.
