3.1 Input Method window

Generally, the Chinese character input method consists of three windows: status window, encoding input window, and candidate window.

Status window: refers to the horizontal bar of the input method. You can set the entry of the input method. For example:

Candidate window: the window for displaying output Chinese characters, as shown in figure

3.12 evolution of input method appearance

With the maturity of the technical conditions, the appearance of the input method has made a qualitative leap. With the help of the powerful image processing technology of Photoshop, the traditional appearance mode has been freed. A batch of skin-friendly input methods appeared on the market, which are available for users to choose their own skin. For example, the sogou input method and Ziguang input method are typical examples. For example:

Compared with the traditional input method, the new input method has a new development in appearance. Originally, the input method was three opposite window modes, but now the encoding input window and the candidate window are combined into one, which has evolved into a new input method Layout mode.
