Since owning 5d3, I have been brewing a group of multiple exposure of the lotus, so on a 500 focal section of the turn of the lens, and then have the season of the Dutch.

Third, shooting techniques

(i) About lenses

Turn-back lenses are generally manual lenses, 500-terminal telephoto focus is particularly accurate, it is recommended to use the camera's real-time screen manual focusing.

(ii) multiple exposures to cameras

Take the Canon 5D3 I used for example, first turn on the camera's multiple exposure, multiple exposure control options, there are addition, average, bright, dark four options. "Addition" is a simple coincidence of multiple images, because no exposure control, the composite photo than the photo before the synthesis bright. "Average" is to control the brightness of the photo in the synthesis, for the multiple exposure of the number of Zhang automatic negative exposure compensation, the composite photos adjusted to the appropriate exposure. "Bright" is to synthesize only bright pixels after comparing the underlying image with the image synthesized on it. "Dark" and "bright" instead, the underlying image is compared to the image synthesized on it, and only the darker pixels are synthesized.

In this group I use the "average" control option, and then properly through the manual negative compensation, to enhance the intensity of light and shade. As for the addition, bright and dark mode, you can try as much as you need to.

(iii) specific shooting

This group of Lotus I was taken two exposure methods to shoot, before filming the first selection of a good two shots of the main body, that is, lotus and turn lens focal outside the unique small circle.

In the mind to do a composition, mainly to determine the good lotus and turn the coke outside the small circle of location and space. The Lotus main body request clear, does not have too many occlusion, uses the camera the real-time filming function completes; reentrant coke outside the small circle, you can find the sun on the surface of the refraction, in real-time screen can be very intuitive to see the adjustment of the coke, do not need to focus, because the small circle after the coke will become very small, and will be very dazzling, The size of the small circle is determined according to your preference. Then the manual negative compensation, so that small circle of the screen as a slightly darker than the main picture of Lotus, to better reflect the Lotus main body.

Although the "average" mode of the camera will be automatically negative compensation, but I tried to find the brightness of the background and the brightness of the Lotus body is basically not much different, so the background with the appropriate manual negative compensation. As for the Lotus and small circle who first shot, this can be, but two shots between the time interval can not be too long, long time will fail.

Iv. on the latter

5d3 with multiple exposure, can be in the raw format, which provides a greater adjustment space later. Because the choice of light is very good early morning and evening time shooting, so the original film, the level of lighting is very strong, color is also very rich, I this group of films just in the LR made some basic adjustments.

In order to create that quiet atmosphere, the appropriate reduction of the point of color temperature, so that the picture slightly bluish feeling; lower the high light, so that the small golden circle outside the glare does not appear dazzling, and then is to reduce the saturation, reduce the overall saturation, and then on each piece of the specific color fine-tuning, adjust to their desired feeling; Reduce noise, output.

This tutorial on the way to shoot is to use the camera multiple exposure function, direct imaging, not computer later synthesis, the operation process is also very simple, basically tried one or two times to fully grasp.
