Multiproxy of multi-Proxy Server Software Tutorial _ Proxy Server

The use of Proxy Server (proxy) to access the site, especially foreign sites have been very common. It has many advantages: such as protecting personal privacy, speeding up the speed of access, and so on. Usually, everyone is looking for some proxy server address, and then in the browser to do the appropriate settings to use. But there are many drawbacks to this approach:
1, many proxy address reliability is poor, such as hard to find a lot of proxy address, may not be used;

One, characteristics
Multiproxy, literally, is the meaning of multiple proxies. It has the following characteristics:
1, its download site does not regularly provide agents, most of which are available, do not have to find their own hard;
2, can set multiple proxy address at one time, if you can add 20~30, or even more proxy address, these proxy addresses can also play a role. I am lazy, only set up 8, never appeared to have no access to the site. The reason is very simple---set up so many agents, there are always several are available, and the probability of failure is zero!
3, fast, it can detect the fastest proxy address, and through multiple proxy address transmission data, a bit of the taste of distributed computing.

Figure 1 shows the interface that Multiproxy actually uses to see that it is connected to multiple sites and transmits data from multiple proxy addresses.

Second, the Multiproxy interface
The software interface is very simple and will be tested on the agents that are joined at startup, as shown in Figure 2:

When minimized, displays the rightmost icon in the status bar as shown in Figure 3.

Iii. Functions and Settings
Figure 2 The button on the right side of the interface contains all the features of the software, and the main features are described below.
1. Options (option)
The Option dialog box integrates the main features of the software and can be set as needed. Divided into three types: General options, Proxy Server list, and advanced options.

1.1Genaral options (General option)
As shown in Figure 4, set options such as proxy port set to 8088, which is the default port for Multiproxy, which is used in browser proxy settings. Use its default settings, and of course it can be set to another port.

1.2 Proxy servers list (proxy server listing)
As shown in Figure 5, this dialog box is the core of the software. Display the status of each agent, the green light to mark the available agents, the agent can not be used at the red light signs. The agents are arranged in the size of the speed.

Select the lower left corner of the menu button or right-click, display the following figure shown in the floating menu, you can do a variety of actions on the agent:

Mainly has the following functions:
1.2.1 Add (Agent):
Select Add ... in the menu to display the following dialog box. Enter the proxy IP address in the Proxy edit box and enter the appropriate port in the Port edit box. The general addition of 10~20 is enough.

1.2.2 Edit (edit agent):
Select an agent in the list box and choose Edit ... in the menu to modify the IP address and port of the agent.

1.2.3 Delete (remove agent)
Select an agent in the list box and choose Delete from the menu to remove this to the agent. Agents that are not available for a long time should be deleted.

1.2.4 Proxy list (proxy listing)
This menu contains actions for the entire list of agents, as shown in the figure. Select the appropriate command to detect all agents, delete all agents at once or delete all unavailable agents, and so on.

1.2.5 Find fastest (search for the fastest agent)
Select this command from the menu, pop the following dialog box, and enter a URL in the URLs edit box to detect the fastest agent to access this URL.

1.3 Advanced Options (advanced option)
As shown in Figure 10. The native IP and machine name can be detected and displayed. If the test is unsuccessful, or if a fireproof wall is installed, two override radio boxes should be selected. and add 127.0.0.1 to the edit box in the IP address that you can use for the connection.

2, check all proxies (detect all agents)
Detects all the proxy addresses that are set up (the same as the menu command test all proxies in 1.2.4) to determine which proxy addresses are available and unavailable. This is typically done at boot time in general options (see 1.1). Refer to Figure 4.
This feature can be used to detect if the proxy list status is all red when used. If it still doesn't work, you'll need to add some new agents---but I've never met that.

3, Update proxy list (updated agent listing)
Access www.multiproxy.org/get proxy address, the proxy address is not updated regularly. This site provides a large number of reliable proxy address, you do not have to worry about yourself!

The above is the main function of the software, and many other functions we can practice in the practical.

Four, browser settings:
For stand-alone use, access the Internet via port 8088 through local localhost or 127.0.0.1. If used in the LAN, it needs to be set to install the actual IP of the multiproxy computer.
Take IE5.5 as an example to illustrate the settings.
1, the choice of tools in IE | Internet Options ... | Connect, select a dial-up connection, select "Use Agent", as shown, enter proxy address 127.0.0.1 and Port 8088 (port should be consistent with 1.1 general options). If used in the LAN, you should select the LAN settings, enter the appropriate IP, continuous click to determine completion settings.

2, the choice of tools in IE | Internet Options ... | Advanced, do not select the "Use HTTP 1.1" and "use HTTP 1.1 through proxy connections."

V. Use of experience and conclusions
