1. migrate Access database data to SQL server 2000

Step 1: Enable SQLSERVER 2000 Service Management, open "Enterprise Manager", and create a new database named "Access Data Conversion ";

Step 2: Run "import and export data" to open the "DTS import/export wizard ". When selecting a data source, there are two options: "Driver do Microsoft Access (*. mdb) "or" Microsoft Access "(the ODBC driver selected by the former and the data interface provided by Microsoft), which are described as follows:

If you select the former "Driver do Microsoft Access (*. mdb), you need to create a new "file data source", select the Driver to install the data source as "Driver do Microsoft Access (*. mdb), and save the name of the connected file data source as "db. dsn ". In the displayed "ODBC Microsoft Access installation" dialog box, select the Source Access database to be converted, and select "file DSN" as "db. dsn "; if you select the latter" Microsoft Access ", it is relatively simple. You only need to select the path to confirm the Source Access database. Step 3: select the target database as "Access Data Conversion", and select "retabulation and view from the source database" in "specify table copy or query ", then, select audit-related data tables for import/export operations. In this way, the Access data is imported into the SQL SERVER "Access Data Conversion" database.

2. migrate SQL Server 2000 database data to Access

Step 1: open ACCESS and create a new database named "SQL SERVER Data Conversion ";

Step 2: Open "obtain external data à import" in the "file" menu, and select "ODBC database ()" as the type in the "import" dialog box ()", the "Select data source" dialog box is displayed;

Step 3: create a "file data source", select "SQL server" as the driver for installing the data source, and save the name of the file data source for this connection as "SQL server. "dsn" to open the "Create a new data source to SQL server" dialog box, which will help you create an ODBC data source that can be used to connect to SQL SERVER. In this dialog box, select the name and login method of the connected SQL server, and select the name of the SQL SERVER database for data conversion from the "change default database" drop-down list, then, test whether the ODBC data source is successfully connected. If yes, you can enter the "Import object" dialog box;

Step 4: on the "tables" tab of the "Import object" dialog box, select the SQL SERVER table to be imported to ACCESS, click "OK" to convert the data in SQL SERVER 2000 to the ACCESS data format.
