I am an old user in China-pub and dearbook (China-pub five stars, dearbook diamond VIP ). Let's talk about my recent feelings about the two sites.
1. After the cooperation between dearbook and Dangdang, the delivery speed is much faster than that of China-Pub: I am in Shanghai and generally receive the dearbook every other day, while China-Pub will have to wait about three days. Fast shipping time is not enough. The key is the total time from order to delivery.
2. After the cooperation between dearbook and Dangdang, we started to free up to 99 freight charges, while the computer books can be exempted if we buy two or three books. Compared to China-pub's high delivery fee of seven yuan, plus the discount on dearbook diamond VIP, I assume that I will definitely give priority to dearbook. Unless you need to buy special books on China-Pub, dearbook is generally cheaper.
3. the consumption points of China-pub are not as attractive as the D coins of dearbook. 1000 of the consumption points are equal to 10 yuan, but the D coins in dearbookcan be changed to "code book 2, and 1000 D coins can be faster than points.
4. dearbook has a fatal weakness: its integration with the Dangdang system will remain intact in time. Placing orders in dearbook is very troublesome; user management is chaotic, and some customers are lost; in addition to dearbook accounts and D currency accounts, it is not convenient for users to use; however, the recently launched discount telephone purchase business is very attractive. Even people who have no idea about online shopping can call dearbook to help you place orders; at the same time, the Chinese-Pub site is not a problem, but the China-Pub site is more rigorous than the dearbook site. The China-Pub site is obviously inconvenient for users: If you open several forms and try to log on again, you do not know which verification code should be used. The answer is: it should be the one that is last used and has not expired. But do users know this clearly?
5. China-pub is more focused on college users, while dearbook is supported by csdn. However, I believe that the market for college users is not as large as that for ordinary IT personnel. It's just China-Pub, which is a wise choice if the market of colleges and universities is well done. Unfortunately, many other university books are bought through teachers and on-campus bookstores. China-Pub assumes that they should start with the instructors who want to penetrate the books.
To sum up, I believe that China-Pub has already met a strong competitor and needs to deeply reflect on itself. Dearbook urgently needs to improve its website.
