My lamp implementation process-Linux

Lamp started with Linux first, and Windows was used to it. This is the first time Linux was installed, and the installation process was well summarized for future reference.
Install RedHat in linux 9.0
Step 2: Step 1: select the installation method. 1. graphical installation (Press ENTER) 2. Text installation (enter Linux text) I will press ENTER
Step 2: Select "OK" and select "Skip" for the Check disc to skip the check. I'm sure my CD is okay. I skipped it!
Step 2: Skip this section!
Step 2: Select Simplified Chinese
Step 2: Let's select your keyboard. I use the current keyboard, except for us, I have never used any other! Next step!
Step 2: Let you select the mouse. Even if you don't know what type of mouse you are, it doesn't matter because we will use character operations in the future! Then select the installation type. Here we select "server" as long as you know, it doesn't matter which type you choose!
Step 2: Select "manual partitioning "!
Step 2: If your hard disk has only one partition, you will see "/dev/SDA and idle partition" (for details about the partition, refer to: http://www.cnblogs.com/ovliverlin/articles/834653.html), if not, you can click to delete them! Next, click "new "!

If you want to install all the tool kits below, you must consider"/"Space size, at least required5-7GSpace, so I/"Partition size is20g

Partitions only need two important areas:1)"/"Root partition;2)"Swap"Type partition, swap area is generally twice the memory

Step 2: click "new" to add a partition! First, add a/boot partition (to be used as the boot partition in Windows) whose type is ext3 (equivalent to FAT32 and NTFS) is 100!

Note: The purpose of this partition is to separate the boot file from the system file. If the system file is broken but the boot partition file is not damaged, the system can still be started. If this partition is not available, during installation, all files are placed under "/", and there will also be a "Boot" folder to store the boot file, but it is in the same partition as "/" at this time.

Step 2: click "new". We will create a swap File System (memory swap zone). In the "file system type" column, select the "Swap" Size: your memory is 512x2 = 1024. Pay attention to this setting! The size should be set to double the size of your memory, but considering that you need to add the memory in the future, we will set a higher level. If your memory limit is 2G * 2 = 4096 in the future, we can set it to 4096 in advance! However, Linux is a low-configuration, high-performance operating system!

Step 2: create another "/" Linux Root partition and set it to "11th!

Step 2: Create Several partitions (the partitions in steps 10 and 11 are required for Linux). Next we will split the remaining hard disk partitions into one partition! Note that the path/mnt/Linux is your partition path (equivalent to your e disk). Select all available space!

Step 2: create all partitions in the preceding steps. If you follow me, it should be the same! Next step

Step 2: do not understand this step!
Step 2: configure the network, click Edit
Step 2: Cancel "use DHCP for configuration" and follow the instructions! Next step

It is best to configure the network during installation,In this case, you can select "Activate upon boot" as an option. If you configure the network after installation, remember to select "Configure" in network settings"-"Activate upon startup". Otherwise, even if you have configured the network, once the computer is restarted, the network configuration is not activated.
Step 2: Select "no firewall" here "! If you want to set up a "firewall" in the future, you can manually write rules. That's what I do!

Note: LinuxFirewall disabling and enabling

1) takes effect after restart
Enable: chkconfig iptables on
Close: chkconfig iptables off

2) takes effect immediately and becomes invalid after restart
Enable: Service iptables start
Disable: Service iptables stop

You can use the preceding command to enable or disable other services in Linux.

When the firewall is enabled, make the following settings to enable the relevant ports,
Modify the/etc/sysconfig/iptables file and add the following content:
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT-M state -- state new-m tcp-p tcp -- dport 80-J accept
-A RH-Firewall-1-INPUT-M state -- state new-m tcp-p tcp -- dport 22-J accept

Step 2: next step.
Step 2: next step.
You can select Asia as the time zone./Chongqing, accurate time
Step 2: Set the "root" Super User Password here. You can simply change it later.

Step 2: If you only want to create a movie server and an FTP server! Remove all the "√" and leave only the "√" before "FTP server" and "development tool ". "FTP server" (used to transfer movies) and "development tools" (Development Kits are frequently used in Linux !), I need to compile C ++, and I don't know what to do. I have to select all the tools. It takes about 6 GB of space.

Step 2: Next Step

Step 2: waiting ......

Step 2: Change the second disk!

Step 2: Change the third disk!

Step 2: Create a boot disk? Select or not!

Step 2: the installation is complete!

Step 2: Linux Startup Interface

Step 2: the startup is complete. Wait for the user to log on!

Step 2: ligin: Root Password: Your Superuser password

Now the installation of Linux is complete. Go to the Linux World. ^
