What is the mentoring system? This is officially defined.

The tutorial system is an education system, which is the same as the credit system and the class system. This system requires the establishment of a "guiding" relationship between teachers and students to guide students' thoughts, studies, and life based on their individual differences.

 

Why do we need to implement the mentoring system?

Traditional education has gradually exposed its shortcomings. In the face of all kinds of people, they cannot use the same model like moon cakes. People trained in the same model may not starve to death in the society, but few will find extraordinary people. This may be one of the reasons why few people in China won the Nobel Prize. The current society is an era of individuality, and education cannot be unified. After all, there are differences between people. The best way is to teach students in accordance with their aptitude. Therefore, traditional teaching methods obviously cannot meet this requirement, in this way, the emergence of another education model is required to cultivate talents based on students' personality, so the mentoring system emerged.

 

The advanced education mode was adopted for the higher education class. At first, Mr. Mi was our only mentor. He knew everyone's situation and taught his students in accordance with their aptitude, everyone depends on their own learning. This reflects the core idea of the mentoring system: cultivate students' creativity and innovation consciousness, respect human personality, and conduct education based on individual differences. However, as the number of students increases and the number of students increases, it is no longer difficult for Mr. Mi to fully understand the situation of everyone as before. In this way, the quality of teaching is hard to guarantee. This requires that the number of instructors must be expanded. Therefore, everyone in the higher education class has become the mentor of the next phase. Mr. MI provides macro guidance, and the rest of the work is done by the mentor. In this way, although the scale of the upgrading class is expanding, the upgrading class will also develop normally.


The above is one of the reasons for the implementation of the Tutorial System in the higher education class. On the other hand, the higher education class trains comprehensive talents, and the study of technology is not important, the promotion class pays more attention to the cultivation of filial piety, courtesy, leadership, and other qualities. The mentoring system is a good embodiment. Therefore, in order to improve the development of the higher education class and for the bright future of our individual, each of us has the responsibility and the obligation to be a mentor and student of the next stage.

 

So what should we do to make the tutor play its real role?

To implement and implement the tutor system well, you must start with the two roles of the tutor system. In the eighth phase, we now play the dual role of mentor and student. Here are some of my ideas.


Mentor

1. initiative. After all, the mentor has come to know where students may have problems. Then the mentor should take the initiative to guide and guide students.

2. fully understand your students. Only by fully understanding the students can they teach themselves in accordance with their aptitude. This is the core of the mentoring system.

3. easygoing but not casual. In daily life, mentors and students are good friends. They can talk about things in heaven and earth, but they cannot be so casual in learning. They must assume the responsibility of being a mentor.

4. macro guidance. Technically, macro guidance and micro-things allow students to find and give full play to themselves.


Student

1. initiative. Students also need to take the initiative to find their mentor when encountering problems.

2. Cooperate with the mentor. The task assigned to us by the mentor must be completed, for example, weekly report writing.

 

With regard to the mentoring system, we have analyzed "what", "why", and "how to do it". I believe that if everyone takes the mentoring system seriously and enables it to go smoothly, it must bring about a win-win situation. Let's look forward to it together.
