MyEclipse features and compatibility issues with Linux internal Web browsers
Eclipse 3.3 now supports Mozilla browsers on all platforms (for Mozilla's hysteresis everywhere), for more information on ubiquitous Mozilla: see bug#7923. For MyEclipse Linux users, this means that the included MyEclipse 6.0 embedded Mozilla Browser Core can act as the core browser for the Eclipse platform, with the accompanying myeclipse 6.0 embedded Mozilla Browser core requires MyEclipse features as follows:
The operating features of the Mozilla browser core that require embedding MyEclipse:
- AJAX Web Browser
- JavaScript debugger
In the past, MyEclipse Linux users had to make the embedded Mozilla browser core work properly by modifying the environment settings. However, with the advent of MyEclipse 6.0, in most cases no additional configuration is required to function properly. However, in a few cases, the Mozilla browser core may not operate and still require additional configuration.

- close myeclipse.
