MySQL compilation installation error: No Curses/termcap Library found solution

CentOS compilation error when installing Mysql,./coonfigure:

 for termcap functions Library ... configure:error:No curses/termcap Library found

Workaround: Install

1. Download website: ftp://invisible-island.net/ncurses/

# TAR-ZVXF ncurses-5.7. tar.gz #. /

2, installed ncurses, still have this error, next install ncurses-devel.i386.rpm

3. This allows MySQL to be configured, compiled, and installed.

Starting mysqlcouldn ' t find MySQL Manager or server [FAILED] (not yet verified here)
Workaround: Mv/etc/my.cnf/etc/my.cnf.old
