System environment:Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server 6

1. Stop mysqld service

[[Email protected] huage]# service mysqld stop

2. start MySQL in a way that skips authorization

[Email protected] huage]# Mysqld_safe--skip-grant-tables &

3. Log in as root user MySQL

[Email protected] huage]# mysql-u root

4. go to mysql database

mysql> use MySQL

5. updating the root of the user table in the MySQL database password Field

mysql> Update user Set Password=password ("New_password") where user= "root";

6. Refresh the permissions so that it takes effect immediately, then quit MySQL, and restart MySQL

mysql> flush Privileges;

Mysql> quit

[Email protected] huage]# service mysqld restart
