MySQL float how to save decimals AH solution

How does MySQL float save decimals?
I set a field type to float, but insert a decimal number and save it in the database as an integer.
I look at the net to change float to float (5,2) can save two decimal places, no more than 5 digits,
Where is this 5,2 set Ah, I changed the length to 5, 2 on the error
