The latest version of 2.4.9 is installed on the official website.

Recovery failed

# xtrabackup--copy-back--target-dir=/home/gp/bak/

The target directory will be empty.

Note the precautions in the manual

The restored database directory must be empty, and the recommended mysqld is the off state.

So many database operation is more complex, restore to a new directory, and then modify the my.conf point to this directory, some cumbersome did not continue to try
