Write a C language program connect1.c to establish a connection with the MySQL database. On the command line, enter: gcc connect1.c-o connect1.exe-I/usr/include/mysql-L/usr/lib/mysql-lmysqlclient

The reason is that only the MySQL server and MySQL client are installed during MySQL installation, and MySQL database development files is not installed.

Solution:

1. graphic interface operation: directly enter MySQL database development files or libmysqlclient-dev in the Software Center and click Install. (2)

2. command Line: Enter sudo apt-get instal libmysqlclient-dev, enter the password (3), and enter whereis mysql after installation. h indicates/usr/include/mysql. h can be used.
