MySql installation and logon, MySql installation and logon

Check whether MySQL is installed in Linux.

Sudo service mysql start // try to open the MySQL service

Tip:

Mysql: unrecongized service // The system does not have MySQL

You need

// Install the MySQL server and core program

Sudo apt-get install mysql-server

// Install the MySQL client

Sudo apt-get install mysql-client

Verify sudo netstat-tap | grep mysql (note that there is a space in front of netstat and-tap)

Modify the configuration file (my. cnf) sudo gedit/etc/mysql/my. cnf

Log on to and exit MySQL, and use and view the database.

// Start the MySQL Service

Sudo service mysql start

//

Mysql-u root

View database show databases;

Connection database use Database Name

View the table show tables;

Exit quit or exit
