MYSQL installation error "conflicts with file from package mysql-libs-*" solution, mysqllibs

When installing MYSQL:


Error:

Error cause:

The cause is a package conflict!


Solution:

Remove the conflicting libs package before installing it.

Yum-y remove mysql-libs-5.1.61 *

-Y means that you do not need to ask whether to remove after the uninstallation is complete,

Then execute the command

rpm -ivh MySQL-server-5.5.32-1.el6.x86_64.rpm
You can install MySQL as follows:

[root@localhost opt]# rpm -ivh MySQL-server-5.5.32-1.el6.x86_64.rpmPreparing...                ########################################### [100%]   1:MySQL-server           ########################################### [100%]PLEASE REMEMBER TO SET A PASSWORD FOR THE MySQL root USER !To do so, start the server, then issue the following commands:/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root password 'new-password'/usr/bin/mysqladmin -u root -h localhost.localdomain password 'new-password'Alternatively you can run:/usr/bin/mysql_secure_installationwhich will also give you the option of removing the testdatabases and anonymous user created by default.
