Stored Procedures

The Create and use permissions for a stored procedure are separate.

Before creating the stored procedure, use delimiter//To change the delimiter to//and then delimiter; Change it back.

Use drop procedure *; Delete stored procedure, better method is drop procedure * if exists;

MySQL supported stored procedure parameter types, in (passed to stored procedure), out (outgoing from stored procedure), INOUT (incoming and outgoing)

The recordset is not a allowed parameter type, so multiple rows and columns cannot be returned through one parameter.

All MySQL variables must begin with @.
