MySQL numeric function

ABS (x)   returns the absolute value of X

Ceil (x)  returns the smallest integer value greater than X
Example:
Select Ceil (0.8), ceil (-0.8); The result is 1, 0

Floor (x) returns the maximum integer value less than x
Example:
Select Floor (0.8), floor (-0.8); The result is: 0, 1;

MOD (x, y) return x/y modulo = = x%y  is the remainder  
Example:
Select 3%4, mod (3, 4); Get 3
Select 3%2; get 1

RAND () returns the random value within the 0~1

ROUND (x, y) returns the value of the Y decimal place rounded by the parameter X

TRUNCATE (x, y) returns the result of a number x truncated to a Y decimal place
Example:
Select Truncate (1.234, 2); result is 1.23
